Our helical embedment anchors get their holding power from the soils they are screwed into. Softer soils provide less holding, so buyers should up-size their anchor selection if they plan to install the anchor in softer soils.
Harbor, weather conditions, and soil type are all factors that should be take into consideration when determining your anchor. Please consider exposure, soil, and extreme weather conditions when selecting the size.
Helical embedment anchors have little impact on sensitive ecosystems and allow marine life to carry on undisturbed in the areas where these anchors are placed.
We use a hydraulic power pack to install the embedment anchor through resisting soils. These anchors have been repeatedly tested by nature and tugboats with load measuring equipment.
Helical embedment anchors never have a problem with drag; once they are installed, they are set and will not move unless you decide to remove them.
